Asociación entre el posicionamiento sagital del componente femoral y el dolor de rodilla anterior en la artroplastia total de rodilla

  • El dolor anterior de rodilla es la complicación más común de la artroplastia total de rodilla (ATR). El propósito de este estudio fue evaluar si la posición del componente femoral sagital es un predictor independiente del dolor anterior de la rodilla después de la TKA de radio único con retención cruzada sin rejuvenecimiento rotuliano de rutina.
  • En nuestro estudio, el 25% de los pacientes tenía dolor en la rodilla anterior a los 10 años después de un TKA de retención cruzada de radio único sin rejuvenecimiento rotuliano de rutina. El posicionamiento en el plano sagital y la alineación del componente femoral se asociaron con dolor a largo plazo en la rodilla anterior, siendo la extensión del componente femoral un factor de riesgo importante.
