Cirugía Ortopédica.
El programa de cirugía ortopédica dirigidos por el Cirujano ortopédico Dr.John Staeheli, ha estado realizando intervenciones quirúrgicas de artroscopía de hombro, artroscopía de rodilla, cirugía de mano, cirugía de pie, artroplastía de cadera y artroplastía de rodilla. Durante los pasados quince días los cirujanos y su equipo de apoyo se han dedicado una semana quirúrgica en el Hospital Traumatológico Profesor Juan Bosch de La Vega y otra semana en el Centro Quirúrgico Misión ILAC. Como ha ocurrido en otros años Los reemplazos de rodillas son ejecutados por el equipo de “Saint Louis” y los reemplazos de cadera por el equipo de “Portland”. La asistencia en cirugía, anestecia y post operatorio por parte de profesionales dominicanos ha sido relevante en esta oportunidad.

Orthopedic surgery.
The orthopedic surgery program led by orthopedic surgeon Dr.John Staeheli, has been performing surgical interventions of shoulder arthroscopy, knee arthroscopy, hand surgery, foot surgery, hip arthroplasty and knee arthroplasty. During the past fifteen days, the surgeons and their support team have spent a week in the Traumatology Hospital Professor Juan Bosch de La Vega and another week at the ILAC Mission Surgical Center. As has happened in other years Knee replacements are executed by the “Saint Louis” team and the hip replacements by the “Portland” team. The assistance in surgery, anesthesia and post operative by Dominican professionals has been relevant in this opportunity.
